Diane is a private equity advisor to the Kauffman Foundation, and works with family offices to develop and execute PE/VC investment strategies and evaluate private investment opportunities. She sits on numerous fund Advisory Boards both in the US and abroad.
Diane also writes and speaks regularly about investing in venture capital. She is the author We Have Met the Enemy …and He Is Us, a widely read report on the VC industry, as well as two books on venture capital investing. Diane’s work has been featured in The Economist, the Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Harvard Business Review, Institutional Investor, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal and numerous industry publications. Her perspectives on the industry are also part of the MBA curriculum at Babson, Boston College, Case Western, Darden, Kellogg, NYU, and Stanford, as well as Harvard Law School.
